The Ed Deir Monastery is the second most visited temple in Petra
after El Khazneh.
The road to it is steps cut into the rock between the mountains. This
monumental building is an invaluable architectural monument.
We climb exactly 850 steps up to the monastery, it was here,
by the way, that the Transformers 2 movie was filmed.
And there is also an observation deck with stunning views of the surrounding area!
