About this tour

The Yerebatan Basilica is perhaps the most mystical landmark in the city. The semi-darkness, splashes of water, a forest of columns illuminated in the dark, the head of a Gorgon Jellyfish, pools with various fish – all this cannot impress the imagination!
The second name of this underground reservoir is the Basilica cistern. Its construction was completed in 532, and for many centuries it served as a storehouse of drinking water supplies in
case of a city siege or drought.
Galata Tower is one of the oldest monuments in Istanbul.
In 507 AD, during the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian, an unnamed tower was built on a high hill. By visiting this ancient building, you get a unique opportunity to view the entire city from a bird’s eye view. The tower at various times served as a lookout site, observatory, lighthouse and prison.
Balat district is a traditional Jewish quarter in the Fatih district.
Balat has absorbed the diverse culture of the peoples who have lived here for centuries. Today, the area has become a tourist attraction, preserving the spirit of the great city.
These are old colored houses, colorful stairs,
umbrellas on the streets, and street cafes decorated in ruins.
Visiting the Balat district, you will have the opportunity to take stunning photographs, which will certainly reflect the spirit of the past.
Pierre Loti Hill is one of the best viewing platforms in the city. Once upon a time, the author of the novel “Asiade”, the French sailor and writer Julien Viot, was inspired here, it was a love story of a French officer and a young Turkish slave of a Turkish pasha.
Sipping traditional tea and coffee, from a height of 53 meters you will enjoy panoramic views of the Golden Horn and descend by cable car.
Taksim district has its own unique flavor, thanks to shops, antique shops, street musicians, cafes and a historical funicular.
Agatha Christie wrote her novel “Orient Express” here at the Pera Palace Hotel (external inspection)
. It leads to Taksim Square
Istiklal pedestrian street, where a historic tramcar runs, the route of which has remained unchanged for more than a hundred years. In the center of the square is the 12-meter monument “Republic”, erected in 1928, includes sculptures of marshals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, as well as Kliment Voroshilov
and Semyon Aralov.
The Church of San Antoine is the name of the local church of Antoine of Padua, which is the largest Catholic church in Istanbul.
Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, Pope John the 13th, preached for the first time in the same church. The church attracts with its elegant facade in the Italian Gothic style. The interior is striking with artful frescoes, which embody biblical scenes with incredible detail.
Beyoglu district is the first thing that comes to mind when asked about the most famous place in Istanbul.
The lively Beyoglu district is home to historic neighborhoods with elegant architecture, exhibition galleries, art and culture centers. The busiest street is also located here
Istanbul – Istiklal.
Galata Bridge is a bridge in Istanbul across the Golden Horn Bay, which connects the old and new parts of the European side of Istanbul.
It was built in 1845 during the reign of the Sultan
Abdul-Majita I. Galata Bridge is a two-level drawbridge, fish restaurants and a walking area are located on the first level, and traffic is carried out on the second level. Local fishermen catch fish on the Galata Bridge in any weather.
